After a month of writing, a month of filming, and over three months and countless hours of editing, Albany Road Studios' second official film is ready to be released to the world!

The Bluebell Woods Theatrical Trailer

The time has come.

I have completed Bluebell Woods, Albany Road Studios' second film. It will be released in about a week or so (on YouTube) and it is excellent. The actors will all be famous!

Trick or Treat!

As a Halloween Treat, I have posted two of the many "teaser posters" for the new film. They use 'Bluebell Woods' as a tentative title...

Other posters on the way. I am leaning towards Bluebell Woods as a title as it is short, simple, meaningful without giving anything away, and very unique. Other ideas include 'To Serve and Avenge,' 'Get Duhig,' and 'Badge of Vengence.' If others come to mind, let me know.

I have finished the first cut and am now halfway through the second. It runs 55 mins so far. And it is good! You are going to love it!

Release date will hopefully be before I leave for Korea (2-3 weeks).... Winter 2007.

The footage has arrived here, so I have begun to edit again. All the footage has been uploaded and I have now completed a basic edit of 4 scenes.

"News" Scenes Finally Filmed

Last night, the "News" sequences were finally filmed, thus completing principal photography (Yay!) on the New Untitled Film. My friends Stephen Wade and Warren Travasso (who I have filmed before - see BAD SUSHI) played the two news anchors. The footage looks good - plain, simple, understandable - and will cut together well with the statements from Superintendent Shelly and Henry Smythe.

The final decision on the name of the news was made. It will be Canadian. "CBC World News" gives us the international flavour we are looking for! I'll pop some of it up here once I've cut it together.

As I am going to Korea at the end of next month, I will be doing the majority of editing there. I am still waiting for the tapes with the raw footage to arrive - I sent them to me from England and have yet to get here. Stay tuned for more...

Here we go with the first of many edited sequences of the movie (Tony's Empire 2 - We need a better name!) In this set, you will see the rough cut of: Catherine and Karl arguing, Roger arriving back at his apartment, and Smythe meeting Daniel to discuss Roger.
